Project Description
The Israel National Water Carrier “Mekorot” supplies drinking and irrigation water from the See of Galilee up to the Negev desert in the South of Israel. In 1990 this carrier supplied about 50% of drinking water in Israel with growth to 80% in 2010. A part of the carrier is constructed as an open canal. Being the main water carrier in Israel it is a strategic and sensitive target that needs very high protection against terror and vandalism. Our experts invested great deal of thought to offer special solutions against terror action of poisoning, bombing, destructing, and vandal activity. We designed solutions for the protection of the pumping stations, the open canal, treatment plants, laboratories and other facilities. Our work included consulting, detail design, “on site” supervision and project management. We continue until now our security consulting and engineering work for this client
