Railways tunnels and bridges are probably the most critical and vulnerable infrastructure for securing trains’ operation. A terrorist attack or sabotage inside the tunnel or on the bridge can cause a great catastrophe with many casualties.
The Security Managers of the Israel Railways have made a great effort to secure these facilities. Together with security experts of J. Gordon Consulting Engineers Ltd., a unique security concept was developed and feasibility studies were performed to examine its efficiency.
Following successful results, our engineers designed accordingly a sophisticated “tailor-made” systems that currently protect every bridge and every tunnel in the country.
