Project Description
The management of the Israel Railways initiated the construction of a new administrative complex that put together the railway departments that were distributed until than in many locations in the country. A new Headquarter Complex was established with a 9-story office building, a new training center, a stabling yard and rolling stock maintenance facilities. In the future, it will be expanded to include the main transportation center, a new one of the largest train stations in the country, a new bus station and commercial and office buildings.
The design work for the security of this entire complex was assigned to J. Gordon Consulting Engineers Ltd. who accomplished the required consulting and engineering tasks from the very beginning stage of the Project until its full operation.
The tasks performed by Gordon Engineers’ team included the detailed planning, preparation of RFP for selection of the Contractor for security systems, assistance in the tender process, supervision over Contractor’s work, and acceptance tests for commissioning of the Project to the Client.
