Sevillana de Electricidad is the electrical company in Spain that produces, transmits and distributes electrical power to the provinces of Andalucia and Badajoz. As a public utility involved in a vital sensitive service, Sevillana de Electricidad constitutes an attractive target for criminal and terrorist activity.
Gordon Consulting Engineers Ltd. was hired to establish a country-wide computerized system for real-time control and supervision of security situations at the Company’s power stations, substations and other sites of the Company.
The system serves as the security backbone of the Company’s protection, and conducts continuous scanning, monitoring and supervision of more than 150 sites.
