Project Description
OPC Energy is one of the largest energy entrepreneurial company in Israel which won the government tender to establish, in the BOT model, a new 400MW Gas-Powered Electricity Station.
Site Constructor Energy Services Inc. from the USA nominated J. Gordon Consulting Engineers Ltd. to provide the required security consulting, design, and supervision for the protection of this Power Station, according to the local regulations.
Throughout the duration of the project, Gordon Engineers will provide a wide range of ongoing consultancy services which will include the Risk Assessment, Security Plan which was already approved by the Regulator, design of the Integrated Security System, selection of Security Integrator and Security Services firm, Supervision over Installations, Acceptance Tests, and assistance to Energy Services to accomplish successfully its assignment.
The site is now in the beginning stage of the construction, part of the security services was already accomplished and Gordon Engineers’ team continues to deliver its consulting and engineering activities until the full operation of this Power Station that is planned to commence in year 2022.
