The Israeli “Very High voltage” (400KV) power transmissions lines are of high national importance thus being a potential target for terror activity
J. Gordon Consulting Engineers Ltd. was engaged by the Israeli Electric Company to develop the required solutions to protect this important infrastructure.
It was one of the most challenging security designs due to the problems of communication, low power, RFI and other technological problems existing on such lines. The solutions had to comply with very high performance and specifications required by the Israel Electric Company
