Project Description
“Ashdod Power Station is another new natural gas facility, constructed in the Ashdod city of South Israel.
This 55MW, natural gas-powered power station, is owned and operated by the Edeltech Group which accomplished it as a “turnkey” project of development, design, construction, and operation.
The Project was constructed by the M+W group, one of the biggest local industrial infrastructure Contractors. M+W awarded J. Gordon Engineers Ltd. to be their security consulting and engineering firm for the implementation of the required protection for this site.
The security level of such a facility is under regulator responsibility therefore, the security concepts plans and solutions were fully coordinated with the government related officials.
Gordon Engineers’ team executed the design of an Integrated Security System consist of outdoor and indoor protection elements controlled by the Command and Control Center. The work included on-site Supervision and Acceptance Tests for successive turn over of the system to the client.
